Chance the Rapper rose to prominence with the release of his mixtape, Acid Rap. The album earned him some awesome recognitions, including a nomination for Best Mixtape at the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards. In 2015, Chance the Rapper self released his debut album, Surf. The album was a collaborative effort with Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment. His debut work coupled with a few notable appearances, including Childish Gambino’s mixtape, Royalty, Chance the Rapper became one of the fastest rising stars in the hip-hop circuit. In 2019, Chance the Rapper released his sophomore effort, The Big Day, which charted incredibly across various countries, including peaking at number 2 on the Billboard 200.
